Natural Deodorant: (Plant-Based & Tallow-Based Recipes)

Why You Should Rethink Conventional Deodorants

In today’s world, store-bought deodorants and antiperspirants are the norm—but most contain harmful chemicals that may do more harm than good. Common ingredients like aluminium compounds are designed to block sweat glands, which might keep you dry but also interferes with your body’s natural detoxification process.

Sweating is how your body regulates temperature and removes toxins. Blocking it with aluminium can overload other detox organs like your liver and kidneys. Additionally, many conventional deodorants include parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances, which have been linked to hormone disruption and skin irritation.

The good news? You can create your own natural deodorant at home that’s free from harsh chemicals—and just as effective.
